Kim Mohr created Serendipity Café in Downtown Dunedin, FL as the owner/chef/mastermind in 2010. The restaurant was largely organic, entirely gluten free, whole food based, where everything was made with love from scratch.
Kim got her start in healthcare when she trained to be a Licensed Massage Therapist at Humanities Center for Massage back in 2004. It was there that she discovered that she had a penchant for anatomy, physiology and everything related to supporting the health of the human body. She graduated with honors in 2005.
Fast forward to 2007, she enrolled at The Institute for Integrative Nutrition. Displaying multiple symptoms, including debilitating fatigue, chronic sinus infections, adult onset allergies, digestive distress and joint inflammation, she went looking for answers. She found them, and graduated from the program symptom free in 2008 as a Certified Health Coach.
What started as a penchant turned into a full-blown passion. She began coaching individual clients, as well as conducting cooking classes. It didn’t take long before the opportunity to open a restaurant popped up. Over the course of the last decade, she was able to help tens of thousands understand that healthy, fresh, organic food can taste amazing through her development of multiple menus, specials, and a meals to go program. The restaurant was sold in 2018, at which time she moved on to write a lifestyle cookbook, create a Cajun spice and a drink blend geared toward lowering inflammation and toxic load which is the root of all disease. She is here to be a guide on the side and empower people to be the healthiest version of themselves. In working with her, you will discover YOU are the answer you’ve been looking for.
Kim’s Philosophy on Food:
Keep it real, as in whole and unprocessed. Too many people are counting calories when they should be counting chemicals. A diet based on lots of fresh organic vegetables and fruit, lean grass fed, hormone and antibiotic free meats, as well as nuts and seeds is a great starting point for anyone who wishes to enjoy a high energy kind of life. Delicious food=delicious life!
Just recently she rounded out her holistic education with a RYT200 certification in an effort to further encourage people to be the healthiest, most vibrant version of themselves.
